Situation:
Intermedia cloud-based communication and collaboration solutions for businesses offering a comprehensive suite of cloud services designed to enhance business communication. It is an alternative to other platforms such as Microsoft O365 and Google G-suite.
Solution:
This article provides information to ensure deliverability when sending emails from your Intermedia platform to the public. Its main goal is that the proper configuration is applied on Proofpoint Essentials as well as your DNS configuration.
Step1: Ensure your SPF record is updated.
Intermedia does provide a public SPF record which can be added to any existing SPF txt record. the following is current existing SPF record for all Intermedia servers and should be added to any SPF if the platform is being used.
include:spf.intermedia.net
Step2: Ensure that Intermedia's sending IP servers are listed in Proofpoint Essentials.
Part of this SPF record is a list of sending servers which should be added in Proofpoint Essentials under the following section below. That would be under ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT - DOMAINS - NEW SENDING SERVER
Under the new sending server you can add the following list of IP addresses provide by Intermedia.
64.78.0.0/18162.244.196.0/22199.193.200.0/21206.225.164.0/22162.216.192.0/22185.64.212.0/22103.211.140.0/2364.28.112.143/3264.28.115.143/32
Once the IP addresses have been added and saved you will need to wait 30 minutes before the IP addresses synchronize.
