Spam Reporter for Cloud with Office 365(SRC365)

Spam Reporter Cloud 365 (SRC365) is an office 365 Add-In that allows an end user on modusCloud to block and trust sender email addresses, as well as a quarantine access shortcut and an ability to report spam back to us. All the actions can be performed from within Outlook connected to Office 365 and Outlook Web Access. The requirements to use this add-in are to have an Office 365 account protected by modusCloud. Note that Outlook connected to an on-premise Exchange server is not supported by this add-in.

Below are the steps to install the SRC365:

  1. You can download the Add-in from the VircomPortal https://vircomportal.com/OutlookAddin
  2. Log in to your Microsoft 365 admin center.
  3. Click on Settings and choose Integrated Apps

  


        5. Click Add-in


Click Deploy Add-inn


       NOTE: If you don't see the above option to Deploy Add-In you need to make sure you are Global Admin in Office         365





     Click Next



 

 

        7. Click Upload custom apps

 

 

        8. Click Choose File

 

        9. Select the corresponding .XML for your Package


 

The add-in will now be available from within Outlook (on windows and mac Deploy environments) as well as Outlook on the Web.  

Note that this can take up to 12 hours to appear for all users it has been deployed for.

 

There will be TWO different display layout depends on the mail client users are using Outlook Web Access (OWA) or outlook with office365 configuration.

If users are using OWA the display of the plugin will be 


Users on OWA:

Open your OWA and select a message that you want to action on it then click on the three dots (…) on the rights 

 

 


and notice at the bottom the plugin name ‘Vircom’ hover the mouse and the Menu items to choose from is displayed.

 

Note: Due to some restrictions on Microsoft side it is impossible to get the menu displayed in the OWA main banner.

 

 

Users on Outlook:

When using Outlook, your actions are available on the ribbon on the right.  If you do not see them the first time, you need to select a message first or close and open outlook to trigger a first-time authentication.

Also note that the plugin only appears 24 hours after you did deploy it from the Microsoft 365 admin center.
