Note about Integrated Deployment

Permanent behavior

Customers under white labeled MSP domains won't be able to deploy integrated deployment (by design)

What this means by "white-labeled domains" is if your business uses a <branded>.cloud-protect.net domain instead of the

default URLs of proofpoint us<stack>.proofpointessentials.com, you can't use integrated deployment.

Temporary issues

  • Currently - clients on the Professional and Professional plus plans cannot use integrated deployment for now due to archiving. There's a pending solution though.

  • Customers with DMARC Reporting services will get false DMARC failures in their reports (because emails transits twice through Office365).  Due to the nature of the in-line scanning.

    Email flow: { internet } --> { M365 } --> { PP } --> { M365 } --> User Inbox

    The 2nd arrival to O365 after the messages is checked by proofpoint is why DMARC reporting gets broken by Office365.

  • MSPs under vircom.com on US4/EU1 that are using vircom's own white-labeling (moduscloud.cloud-protect.net)  cannot deploy Intergrated Deploment.   We should have a workaround for this soon.
