Applies to:
Clients running on-prem exchange who populate users on proofpoint via the standard Active Directory Sync.
This usually does NOT apply to clients on Microsoft 365 Azure Sync.
Actions Needed:
If you use Active Directory (AD) user synchronization, please update your configuration to include the new IP address range: 208.56.1.0/25 to be allowed in your firewall. This update is required to enable the "Search Now" feature, as AD syncs initiated through the user interface will not function without it. Scheduled AD user syncs will continue working for now but will also require the new IP range before the end-of-life date. Ensure your configuration is updated by July 31, 2025, to avoid any disruptions.
